GARETH QUINN REDMOND

BIO

Since releasing his first album Laistigh den Ghleo, Gareth Quinn Redmond’s work has continued to be inspired by the Japanese concept of Kankyō Ongaku, Environmental Music. This concept runs throughout Quinn Redmond’s approach to writing, which focuses on building and sustaining a connection between listener and environment.

Whilst releasing his own music with WRWTFWW Records, Quinn Redmond has also written and recorded string arrangements for some of the most celebrated artists in the Irish music industry including Glen Hansard, Villagers, Bell X1, James Vincent McMorrow, The Scratch and Ye Vagabonds. These friendships have led onto many extensive tours of the U.S.A, Europe and Japan.
